Independent Book Blogger Awards

For the past 15 days or so, Goodreads.com has been hosting the Intependent Book Blogger Awards (or IBBA), a contest that serves to “highlight the amazing content in book blogging today.”

The contest pits blogger against blogger in four categories, of which we (the people) get to vote and choose the winner.  The four categories are Adult Ficiton, Adult Nonfiction, Young Adult & Children’s, Publishing Industry.

Now before you jump to it and start asking “Where is Folaji.com so I can vote for it?” understand that this site is not eligible to participate in the contest for two reasons:

  1. I’m not located in the USA
  2. 75% of the content of this site is not devoted to “coverage of books and/or the book publishing industry…”

But even though Folaji.com is not participating doesn’t mean that you can’t join in on the fun.  Everyone gets four votes (one for each category), so take a moment to visit the contest page and vote!  Hurry, you have until April 23rd to cast your vote!

Who knows, you may just stumble upon a new, favorite blog! (well, second favorite, after this one, of course :) )
