My Creative Writing

On My Writing

Creative WritingI have an overactive imagination.

Everyday a new story/adventure/mystery pops into my head, and I watch it unfold just as though I was watching it on television.  Sometimes the story ends abruptly on a cliffhanger, sometimes it ties all loose ends, and sometimes – if not most of the time – it just stagnates and disappears, only to be replaced by a new story shortly thereafter.

Most of these ideas unfortunately end up being forgotten (I don’t feel too bad though, seeing as how keeping them all written down would make for a lot of notes). A lucky few end up in my notebooks, and of those lucky few, only a handful get elaborated into written short stories.

Writing is one of my favorite hobbies, if only because it lets me revisit and share worlds, characters and stories that were created in my head.  It allows me share my stories, which I feel sometimes have something to say (or sometimes not), and also gives me a sense of satisfaction in knowing that I can be proud of what I’ve completed (writing a story isn’t the easiest of tasks after all).

I use my website to publish my creative writings, as well as a handful of writings prepared by some friends.  Feel free to read through these stories, a list of which you’ll find at the top of the page.
