The idea of Flash Imagination is fairly simple, look at a picture and write about the first thing that comes to mind. The exercise flexes both the creative and writing muscles, and often makes for a surprisingly interesting post.

Also, if you’re curious on how it all began, here’s a quick history on where Flash Imagination came from.
Moving to Montréal in summer of 2009 saw many changes in my life. A new city, a new job, a new apartment, and new friends. With all the changes, I also got myself a new cell phone, my first smartphone, which also meant my first cell phone with a camera.
Now I’ve always owned a camera, but never really took pictures around my hometown. Arriving in the big city, however, I found there are always interesting things to see. My imagination often nagged at me when going through many of the pictures I’d taken over the years, and I found that I could share what it wanted to say on the site.
